nah, early this year they posted something about searching for new character designers to hire, this year's heroes were already planned beforehand so most likely they are searching personal to come up with fresh ideas for new heroes in the following years

hey! I make trailers like these :) It's actually not CGI at all, it's all gameplay capture (meaning the artists had to "play" the game and capture footage using virtual cameras). Usually a mandate like this takes 4-8 weeks from conception to delivery, including capture, motion graphics and sound mix.

@@chantdemort5464 Shinobi rework was already in progress. Both the conq rework and shinobi reworks required new animations and are both pretty complex. I'm not surprised it was just conq this season. Conq needed it more than shaolin 100%. He may be more viable, but he is so outdated and much more boring to play and play against.

@@chantdemort5464 Well, we don't really have any way of knowing how annoying the new conq is to fight. We'll have to wait and see. Besides, it's TG, it's all experimental. All shaolin really needs is more flow. He's got a really solid foundation and doesn't really need a full overhaul like cent, shinobi and conq needed. I do agree shaolin needs buffs, don't get me wrong. I just think that conq needed it more and given that they were in the middle of doing shinobi, it makes sense for them to focus solely on one character rather than multiple. Hopefully we can see lawbringer, jorm, nuxia and shaolin in Y6S1 TG...

But you can’t pretend the game has anywhere near the player base it had at launch, or even a year or two ago tbh when the youtubers (or a devoted few) were still keeping it relevant.
