Y62 S5 TiL OffRoad For The 1st Time With The All New Landrover Defender 110

If you have been following this channel you will know that I am all about Y62. It has kind of taken over my life. For the last 6 months or so I haven't owned one and now I have the new S5, I'm dead keen to take it off road with a bunch of my Patrol mates. And on this trip we also had the new Landrover Defender 110. It was very interesting to see both vehicles tackle the tracks and compare the tech.

Given me more faith in my Bridgestone Duelers that came with my new S5 Ti-L. Was thinking I’d need to change them out to go 4WD’ing. They actually looked to perform ok in this video

You can use the diff locks in the defender manually if you get the advanced off road pack.

@@einfelder8262 unfortunately not, if you want the check engine pack you have to go for the 2l 4 cylinder petrol😂😂😂

The Defender looked awesome but the Y62 is also impressive and much better value. You have to spec the P400 at nearly $120k to get the performance of the Patrol. Shame the Nissan interior is so 90’s

@@colinthompson7463 I think we have smaller front and rear diffs and we don’t get the terrain control software but they are mostly the same. They are not a van as was mentioned above.

Because it has no offroad accessories apart from the optional rear diff locker. Bumpers, roofrack, side wheel protection, snorkel, underbody protection, winch, rear side protection, etc...

Auto diff locks have a habit of locking in on wet roads and shattering in these.

@@Pieces93 yeah well no shit. It was a dig at land rover for basically making a discovery not a true defender. At its core it is so far from what a defender was and meant to be. Even Richard Hammond has made the same statement and made fun of landrover hence my joke about it even said it im the reply to lame duck and you still didn't pick it up 🤦

Nissan looks less scary wheel lift than Defender. Something wrong with this defenders even look like have bunch off road features. I don't know maybe height and wheel base is wrong so it makes look bad compare with Nissan same independent suspension all around
