You claim to love the messenger but do things that he didnt do? especially since his real bday is not known for sure and this was not done by the people who were closest to him ,you can say i dont understand but then you would be saying that the companions didnt also, You can risk doing things that were not done but thats up to you ,i rather obey and do the many other things that are authentic rather than risk doing things that were not done by the messenger and those who were the closest to him @@Bism_illaah

bro explain to us why you know more than the companions and the prophet! if he wanted you to celebrate it he would tell you but you seem you think he left out this? Every explanation on the maulid is derived there is no solid thing ! if he love him then do what he told you to do and dont invent things he didnt do that what islam is ,otherwise you will go the path the christians went to .,IF it wasnt done cut it out ,and do things which are authentic and have proofs not a thing that literally came abour several years after the prophet peace and blessings be upon him@@safwaansasman7549

Is he saying this is an act that is permisable or this act is praiseworthy and will be rewarded by Allah? I think that is the big difference...if you are doing something expecting to be rewarded when there is no proof then that is incorrect and could leave to further misunderstandings. Best to only practice on what you are know and where there is evidence for that act of worship.
@flaming932 Жыл бұрын
Reading salawaat will be rewarded. Reading ahadith will be rewarded. Gathering in groups to do such deeds will be rewarded. Mawlid isn't praiseworthy or rewardable because of the day, but because of these acts. The day is inconsequential, it's simple permissible to do it on the day (shafi'i madhhab). In the video, the Mufti is simply saying the madhhab allows it and explains.

If the person does not view mawlid as part of deen, then leave him if he does celebrate the mawlid. (He has not added to the deen). And if the other person view it as a bid'a that should not be practiced, then let him go his way as well. (He has not subtracted from the deen). We have become a narrow minded, nit picking, stagnant community who always very "humbly" correct one another.

@joziboy8673 Жыл бұрын
No URZ is shirk , All praises belong to Allah Alone! Allah then said Allah and the angels spread Salaam upon Muhammed SAW .. Rasoolullah said spread Salaam amongst each other. The entire earth is a mosque Celebrating an URS is like asking the sun to cool your eyes .. The only reason you should go to a grave yard is to bury the dead and to pray for the dead because they are dead they can't do good deeds anymore. So the Urs is a celebration of the dead and their life why not focus that energy on the Prophet SAW. Feed people as per the hadith the best of you are those who feed people, instead of putting cloths on graves put covers on quraans or clothes on orphans backs Instead of remembering a particular person as the URS does get together to pray for community's your loved ones your sick your children's studies etc you are your own URS everyday celebrate it!

The Mawlid is based on the specialty of the Prophet SAW and his uniqueness and the recognition of Uswantun Hasana -The best of Examples, just like the noteworthy events that occurred at the time of the Prophets birth the fire of the fire worshippers of Persia extinguished etc.. even as he SAW is a Prophet like the Prophets of Allah some have have been given status over others.. his status SAW is Unique and mawlid highlights that very status that instead of saying Nafsiy Nafsiy Rasoolullah will say Ummatiy! Ummatiy! Muhammed means praiseworthy even with millions of muhammads in the world today so should it be so wrong to find occasion to praise the best of creation.. The how is whats important . On the view of did the companions do this or that .. when the children sang Talal Badru Alayna, was it sanctioned or approved or condemned or made forbidden? It was the expression of the human spirit to express themselves in a positive way ,What is permissible remains permissible as long as it is not used as a tool in the impermissible. Further in terms of ritualising the period of the mawlid.. restricting the mawlid to a fixed month or day speaks to the fact that it comes and goes not allowing any occasion of it to become part of an ongoing belief and affecting the outward view that it is a religiously mandated event or belief as part of the law. When the companions spoke to the Prophet they would say "Ya Rasoolullah! may my mother and father be sacrificed for you" this is an expression of love and concern and obedience of the highest order, if this was too much to bear then Rasoolullah would have put an end to that kind of free expression of love and affection and obedience in fact we dont say that out loud anymore acknowledging that Rasoolullahs status is above ours as the hadith states None of you have truly believed (complete sound faith) until I am more beloved to him than his father, his son and all of humankind. (Narrated by Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim) so essence and the expression of mawlid should be to honour the personality of Rasoolullah for he is the best of exemplars to mankind, also so it is a dawah opportunity in our times of Islamophobia and misunderstanding of Muhammed SAW the man, the life the way to Allah because many have come to think being a muslim is hard and therefore unattractive but that means we must clean up the bad innovations that cultures have added overtim establish the value of the practice and keep it free from misunderstanding This video is great and allows for discussion of the practicality of belief based on understanding and not fear .. we dont take the scholars as lords over us as Allah says of the jews and Christians so we must fill our selves with noor of knowledge as it fard upon all Muslims to seek knowledge, in the same way fard to make whudu before prayer and fard to fight in a just cause Surah Tawbah 9:31- They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allāh, and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary. And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him."
