Yabbying with Pork, Chicken, Lamb & Beef baits

Raided the bottom of the freezer to find some very old meat to use for yabby bait. On a day too windy for fishing Les and myself thought we would try yabbying in the top paddock dam. We hit the jackpot with yabbies but were only after the smaller ones for some bait for an upcoming fishing trip. #yabby #yabbies #yabbying

No shortage of yabbies in that dam and it looked like just about everything you tried worked well. Enough bait to get you a few fish too. Well done!!!

It will be good to see how the dam is next year now. Hopefully it is not the start of a long dry patch

Try pilchard. Never loses its scent no matter how long its in the water.

Never thought to try some saltwater bait but I can understand why as they surely would put out a good scent
