The revival magic rules get explained a bit later, but essentially in order to revive someone you need a certain percentage of their body. If you don't have enough mass the magic will not work-so they're on a time limit for the sister to not be too digested.

From the side chapters of the manga it goes into detail that once they hatch they grow the armor from themselves, they don’t find a empty armor to merge with. Then once they grow a armor piece they find others to interconnect with to form the set and wait.

@@KeitieKalopsia best described is how say an oyster forms a Pearl. Uodate: say if you were to Harvest living armor and form a farm like Pearl gathering. Good chance the farmer will get various living armor pieces that develop different designs. Put them together in a room to form up and create unique armor sets. Go in, incapacitate them, carefully remove them and into a new plain looking empty armor shell, then take the unique armor shells. Polish/decorate them and sell to ppl with money that like the design and show off in their home. No different on current Pearl farming industry on various Pearl colors, size and shapes ppl harvest and sell on their own or jewelry set.

I love that the MC has a one track mind lol. Joining up with the dwarf monster-chef was great. I've seen monster colonies act as a single unit in anime but never anything like this with shellfish using adductor muscles to function inside armor lmao. Pretty smart tbh. Also I love that they cleaned the animal of its guts etc. before eating it but didn't thoroughly clean the helmet.

Probably it didn't fit anyone in the party and it was too heavy to be carrying around an extra set of armor since they are going deeper into the dungeon instead of to the surface where it could be refitted/sold.
