actually, Hinokami is not the same as breathing continuously. Breathing continuously is literally what Goku did with Gohan when they were trying to learn SS2. All it is was for Water breathing to happen 24/7 and never stop so u retain that power level 24/7. BUT, lets assume water breathing is power level 1000, then Hinokami is like level 10000, but that just mean u have ample supply of power to unleash not that he can retain it 24/7.

Yo guys just a clarification, "kagura" is a type of japanese dance, and "hinokami" means "god of fire" (hi no kami), so the closest translation would be "dance of the fire god". That breath style allows you to completely ignore fatigue, as his father said, Kanao's not the same breathing style, using it nonstop does improve her stamina, but she can still get tired (it just takes longer)

It's like when Goku and Gohan trained to use Super Saiyan all day in the hyperbolic time chamber. If you caught what Tanjiro said, "I takes all my effort just to use it in combat". Very similar to SS in that it drains stamina if you go in and out of the transformation, in this case using his breathing techniques.

@@GamingGamer22 That specific scene was a filler, ufotable was just stalling for time in the last episode as they didn't want to end the season on a very big cliffhanger. I guess they "sacrificed" Zenitsu's speed in order to show the three of them being "together", like as you saw - Zenitsu is just barely hanging and then Inosuke (first) and Tanjiro grab him by the hands and pull him in. I guess you could say that ufotable wanted to show that the three of them grew as a team and their bond grew as well, something like that.
