The Superman trailer also seems to show that Superman has been doing this for a while. I like this approach, just about everyone knows who Superman is and what they're origins are. I like starting a new universe with things already established, like metahumans, Batman is already working (probably a few years into it too), Superman, Clayface, etc We're not really seeing the origins of too much stuff (other than the Commandos right now). We're just jumping straight into it.

Dr. Phosphorus is the embodiment of people with the brightest smile are the saddest. The guy probably became a crime lord hoping that someone would end his life as we saw him thinking of his wife as he's dancing. I also like the touch of having the original mod boss, Rupert doing the bread dance for his kid's because that was from and well known silent movie actor, Charlie Chaplin and he was all about smiling for others, even when you're sad.

I actually thought Phosphorus was going to kill the little girl too, crazy pump fake, but it makes sense to think that way given that he’s a supervillain with a very tragic backstory. He pretty much killed the crime boss’s two kids and wife. An eye for an eye, pretty disturbing and horrible way to die since his body is made up of radiation.

A lot of people are shipping the bride and Nina together and I don't see the bride pursuing any relationship when she knows that she has a stalker that'll take out anyone that looks in her direction. Frankenstein was ready to snuff out Flagg earlier. I also like how when Nina stepped in to save the women, she stood to the side to let her fight her own battles and only took over when the situation became too much for her to handle on her own.

This might honestly be my favourite episode so far. Phosphorus is probably my favourite character, and seeing how truly messed up his backstory really makes you understand why he's so deranged and violent. I swear Rupert Thorne has to be one of the slimiest pieces of s*** in Gotham since bro just keeps on pissing off people who become supervillains; I mean, just look at Batman: The Animated Series and Caped Crusader since in both those shows, he's responsible for creating Two-Face, and now in this show he created Dr Phosphorus, I just wish we saw the look of horror on his face when Phosphorus killed his family and later killed him. I also like Nina & Brides' side plot with the prostitutes, & seeing Weasel find solitude with a pack of wolves was sweet. I like how, in the DCU, they must establish that meta-humans already exist and are a common occurrence in this universe without the need to explain what they are or how they came to be since there are already multiple different types of meta-humans as either heroes or villains or just average Joe's with powers. That Batman's cameo was an *INSANE* shock!😁🦇 Low-key, how the hell did Batman take down someone as OP as Dr Phosphorus anyway?
