We also know that in Episode 16 it's outright stated that he is not currently in the capital with Felt, likely protecting her while she sets up her camp considering she loudly proclaimed that she wanted to cause anarchy to an entire group of corrupt, bigoted nobles. If Felt doesn't already have at least 20 assassins after her head, it would be a miracle in of itself.

This is very different from the novel. Originally, Rem faked her death and Subaru confessed his feelings for her because she knew that in episode 18 he was only telling half the truth. This is why they're so tender with each other at the end. They kept the second part in there, but omitted the first part, adding unnecessary confusion.

If you guys need something new to get into and make reaction vids to I have a few somewhat lesser-known recommendations, some that are getting sequel seasons, coming out in 2021: - Zombieland Saga. I know it's an idol anime, but it's legitimately funny, the songs are bangers, the dub isn't that bad, and it spawned a meme that ended up on British Parliament. Mappa is doing the sequel season. - Welcome to Demon School, Iruma. Think like My Hero if it was also an isekai except instead of a world of superheroes, we're in literal Hell with demons and our titular character is the only human and also humans are a rare delicacy to demons so that fear of being found out is always at the back of his mind. It's funny, it's gaudy and ugly and I love that about it, both the Japanese version and dubbed version are full of JoJo voice-actors, it looks like something you'd see in the early 2000's, every girl turns out to be best girl even our main character, it's weirdly heartwarming at times, and all the characters are just delightful. - Dorohedoro. The overall aesthetic I would describe it as is 1 - Something that looks like a heavy metal album threw up in a Hot Topic, 2 - What it would look like if wizards wore Air Force Ones and had that drip going. The fights are brutal, the environments are cool-looking, both sides of characters are delightful, the food looks fantastic, and about every character is either a himbo supreme or buff girls built like brick-houses. The OD and ED's are absolute bangers, even some of the OST are bangers. The animation was also done by Mappa.

Rem did actually say in the LN that she's Ok with being Subaru's second wife, this was skipped in the anime (probably to avoid controversies). However, in hindsight that decision makes him look as if he's taking advantage of her and makes Rem look much more like a simp, in any case, both have feelings for each other so it shouldn't be so weird the scene at the end of the episode.

Julius isnt bad. He isnt even near the notion of bad. Guy is so good that just gave a beating instead of killing(he was legally able to do so.) Subaru just to let him understand how serious it is to take up the title of a Knight and you cant use it in vain. This reaction again made me realize how many people just like to pull stuff out of context and spread bs in the earlier reactions to the show about them hating on Subaru way too much. It's like they don't even pay attention to what they say. In here they say stuff like "It's a redeemable episode for him" and "there's things I don't like about him but there's also things I DO like". So just please stop spreading statements about them reacting that aren't even remotely true that turn away some viewers, like someone allegedly said they called Subaru "manipulative" in this episode which did not happen as you see here in this video, not once was this said, in fact MOST of what was said about him here was in good fun like they always do..... Also not every time someone is gonna have the same opinion about a show or a character like you, so just accept that this is the way they're reacting and realize they still absolutely love the show. in this case... Edit: also I’d like to add the „I think I just don’t know enough about Emilia...“ sheera said because that is absolutely something one can’t deny that she’s the „main“ character with the least amount of characterization and development so far, not to forget the not yet addressed backstory

I mean imagine witnessing the emotional payoff and turnaround for Subaru's character and understanding the message of getting back up on your feet and continue moving forward that was being spoken, only to find out that not only 75% of viewers (mostly normies) completely miss the point of the confession because "mUh wAiFu gOt rEjEcTeD," but rapidly spread misinformation through memes and also act EXTREMELY toxic and aggressive towards Emilia fans and Subaru fans, giving the fanbase a bad rep. I may not have been there when it happened, but I honestly can never blame them for holding a grudge and feeling very bitter years later when see these type of responses to ep18 (still on the fence about "remtard" tho). The moderators and really just anyone who has to deal with this waifu war bs and help to shape the Re Zero fandom to what it is today and heal this deep scar has my unyielding respect. (I hope I'm not repeating myself too much from last time with this.) Whether or not these comments were exaggerating is a different story entirely. Personally, this turned out way better than I expected. Like Gourmet of Gluttony said, even though the Subaru hate is a bit much, it was still quite entertaining to watch.

Yeah I remember someone commenting how this group hated Subaru, but from what ive seen, they just seem to joke around with it. To be honest ive seen worse reactors like Ruff, that man literally said Subaru's past was a filler episode and he said that episode dragged for too long. But he still enjoyed the show till the end. Long as they enjoy the show, people should just chill.

Wilhelm (Theresia's husband) states that his last name is van Astrea, which also happens to be Reinhard's last name (as he states while fighting Elsa). You can do whatever you want with that information.

Hi Zafiel here from the rezero sub reddit! I translated a good portion of the light novel and I can expand a bit on several points here. For starters, Subaru loves Rem and Emilia but hes unfortunately conflicted as he loved Emilia from the start. Rem is satisfied with just being his right hand basically (no pun intended) its also worth mentioning that in the LN they’re sort of open to the idea of a polygamy relationship. Also Julius saved Subaru by 1 vs 1ing him because the other knights would have done much worse. Julius took it to far though and many knights looked at that fight as shameful on his behalf for beating Subaru to a pulp.
