I think Nolan does legitimately love his wife and son. And I think he's telling the truth when he says he's scared of losing everything. If Mark doesn't side with Nolan, he'll have to kill him, and there's no way Debbie will forgive him for that. And with that, the only two connections emotionally tying him to this planet are gone. And he's stressing out, because he's trying to mold his son, without showing his hand. It's possible that even if Nolan pulls off his plan, his wife will still turn against him. Maybe that's why he's been taking her out to special places so frequently? Trying to get a few more "good times" in to look back on, before everything drops?

They don't gain anything by killing each other directly. By using every situation they are in to gain an advantage and use those moments to kill the other twin. They are similar to Doomsday in that every death makes the next clone better.

So this is what i can guess so far: - The guy who changed the flag on his ship was actually a Martian, who escaped Mars by taking the form of the guy who was possessed. -Robot is most likely going to create a team of heroes that actually obey him, by replacing them with clones.

Also Fun Fact: Originally back in the comics, Amber Bennett, the girl Mark is dating, was the opposite of what you see here. She was originally a blue-eyed blonde who just filled in for Mark's love interest. Here she's a forwardly confident young black woman with her own sense of identity. Personally I really like what they did with her.

About the scene with Nolan not doing anything bout the dragon, Nolan knows that Cecil suspects him and that he has him under surveillance, he wasn't worried about the dragon because he knows Cecil's surveillance team is nearby and that they'd immediately dispatch someone to deal with the threat (look how quick the jets turned up on scene). It's subtle but it shows that Nolan is not just some muscle-bound meathead, he's cunning and smart as well.

The comics were good for setting up multiple plotlines that came to ahead later really well. We see this here with the shit with Mars, the Nolan Case & the reveal with Robot. These will all funnel together & build the world IMMENSELY later

It seems like they made Invincible a little weaker in the show. In the comics he doesn’t ride on top of the rocket when escorting it to Mars he just flies alongside it the whole way. Also according to Omni-Man, Viltrimites can hold their breath for up to two weeks, so they presumably don’t need a lot of sleep. So if the mission is two weeks and it takes a week to get to Mars, Invincible can fly 1,028,810 MPH or just under 1,352 times the speed of sound. That’s also not even his top speed either. That’s a steady pace for him since flying too fast for too long actually can wear him out. Just some fun information.

I didn't read the comics but my understanding is that the detective is actually immortal and can't be harmed. Also it looks like one of the Martians and humans got infected somehow and now the Martian pretended to be human and went to earth while the human stayed behind to infect the Martians.

I love how Kirkman changes things. Comicwise, Damien Darkblood was just a silly little spoof of Rorschach with about 5 panels total. Here, they flush him out, make him a super cool detective with some Helllboy elements thrown in, and parallel getting rid of the truth seeker because its dangerous for the world if the truth got out.
