People probably confused you telling you to watch that after credit scene like it had some relevance in the story, but in truth, that shot of Arthur walking in a desert was just a joke, he is so disoriented that he ended up in a completely random place while everyone were dealing with Rekka. He is fucking dumb, nothing to do with being a traitor.

I don't know if "That's what I thought" = I believe I this to be the right choice or "That's what I thought" = I thought I was right, but thinking back that was a bad decision. I'm slowly getting more interested in this anime again. I think I needed to see more of the other Captains and have the hint that I will see some other dynamics in play. I also agree that Tamaki needs to do something soon. I understand that she couldn't really be of help in the last fight because she got stomped out for 5 minutes straight by a dude who has like a foot and a half and probably a good 80 lbs on her, but her first introduction was pretty much as fanservice bait, and then distressed damsel, and then more fanservice WHILE being a distressed damsel. She constantly swerves the mood into weird places at awkward times. I guess it was to lighten the mood after watching a child potentially become an infernal by an insane member of a radical cult, but I didn't need to see Shinra fall face first into cleavage in the middle of a fight to break the tension. It just made me roll my eyes. This is the conclusion I came to when I was trying to figure out what about this character was rubbing me the wrong way. I like lewd stuff just fine, but Tamaki as a character just makes it happen so randomly (well not anymore. Every time she's around I'm just counting down until she somehow winds up disrobed, groped, or both) that it feels very out of place.

Ayoken007 I 100% agree with you!!! On the first bit about what Shinra said and ESPECIALLY about Tamake. They really need to stop whoring her around like comedy meat because its really not needed on this level. The fight with Rekka was almost ruined for me because they had to throw in her almost nude body inbetween the fight TWICE...like ok SHES A GIRL AND IS ALMOST NAKED, I GET IT!!! If thats all shes gonna do then im kinda over it. She can be sexy while doing cool shit guys, just saying.

@Min Ex I acknowledge that her signal flares were very helpful and timely. It's not her being useless during the fight that bugged me because like I said before, she spent the first part of it caught off guard and choked out by the man she admired greatly, then the latter part of it being stomped and kicked by said man who is a grown trained fighter with a reach and weight advantage on her while still on the ground recovering from having the air squeezed out of her. My issue isn't with her not fighting, but with how they've been utilizing her. She's been primarily fanservice bait, and her role as fanservice during that fight, which broke the tension in a frustrating way, was where I noticed my patience for Tamaki begin to run dry. If my basis for dislike was on who could fight, I would dislike Iris because she has been a damsel and has no combat ability. I probably don't like much how they've represented a couple of the ladies so far. Maki is my favorite, but they call her ogre because she's strong and not a demure princess like Iris. Tamaki, as I've stated, is pretty much fanservice bait regardless of the situation. Hibana I'm on the fence about. Her defeat felt too paint by numbers shounen and since then she's been kinda fawning over Shinra. She does have useful intel, though. TL;DR my beef with Tamaki isn't with the fact she didn't fight, but the fact that her main role on screen was to be groped and fondled on accident during a serious high tension scene.
