Great video I’m trying to figure out how to transmit the most on SSB what is your mic gain and Mike EQ set up as and also what microphone do you use thank you very much

Thanks. I have changed the settings a bit since the time of this Video. More recent Videos show a bit more detail as I now have the mic gain at "Mid" and the Eq at setting "6" with the RF power at 40. This puts the voice peak at just under 20 for the linear and the Yaesu MD-100 works as a power mic as such and I get excellent audio reports. (I go barefoot for FM TX to avoid overdriving). Hi Max hope your safe and well. Finally got my FT 450 D. And set up the Antron 99 . Can you give me a bit of your knowledgeable advice. When I key the Mic on 11m band 27.550 and in VFO..A I get a display showing TX ERR as if not transmitting . Hi Stewart. Congratulations, You got a Nice Rig! Sounds to Me like Your 450D needs the conversion to open up the General Coverage Transmit. If This has Been Done then Check your SWR (on a separate Meter) on Low Power. I Hope this is Helpful, Keep in Touch and I will Listen out for You. Thanks

hello max,i agree pain in the ass,people playing music,why do you think its from England,when i hear idiots playing music i turn the yagi round till the signal is the strongest,and almost every time it seems Italian stations,with mega watt amps,anyhoo,thats my 3 cent worth,thanks from Rotterdam..

The most part I pick up is UK, I do hear it from Italy, North France and Many more as well as not just music but T5QSO's, general abuse etc. Hopefully I am received as non-discriminatory. Thanks & just to clarify ~ TTUSn 73's
