I personally feel like for the anime at least, the popularity comes with it being so aggressive and many people at least heard of it for that, so basically it got viewed in a negative light. Meanwhile Yagate Kimi ni Naru has very good plot line and had all of the emotions that I felt from the manga. All of this makes people view it in a positive light. I feel like all the negative traits of something will get spread faster than the positives which probably is why people know about Citrus more. The manga for Citrus is a wayyyy different story than the anime though. It doesn’t focus on the aggressiveness as much and all the aggressiveness there is gets toned down after a while and the art style makes the characters more genuine than the anime has every made them and i would encourage your to read the manga even if you didn’t like the animated version. TLDR: The anime adaption of Citrus is viewed in a negative light which causes it to be more known than Yagate Kimi ni Naru. The manga for me at least is much better than the anime in the story and aggressiveness parts. Keep in mind that this is all my opinion and you might think differently and all I want to do is share my viewpoint.

I am just happy I finally made time to watch this since it's been on my Netflix List for so long. No one told me about it so I didn't bother watching. But now I'm just glad I did anyway. This anime/manga gave me a lot of emotions. After watching the anime, I didn't know what to feel. My heart was so heavy but I couldn't cry at all. It felt like I had all my emotions constrained inside me. I never read a Manga (I am a visual artist so I prefer to watch than reading) but with their love story, it was an immediate exemption. I needed to know more! I was crying and crying and listening to this playlist while reading. After finishing the Manga, its as if my heart finally had the rest it has been longing for. A deep sigh, a little bit of tears, and a smile was a way to end it. Thank you, Yuu and Nanami Senpai. I hope somewhere somehow you have your own world where you truly exist and are happy together.

I wish this had a Season 2. Based on what was laid out, season 2 can go one of two ways: 1. Touko and Yuu ask Sayaka to be a part of a threesome with them, assuming all parties involved agree to it. 2. Sayaka accepts that Touko does not reciprocate her feelings, and meets another girl from their school that she slowly grows to care for and eventually develops a relationship with, allowing her to move on from her unrequited feelings for Touko. Meanwhile, Touko and Yuu's relationship hits a few roadblocks but they continue to grow and mature, strengthening their bond. I'm leaning more towards the latter as the more likely to be season 2, if there is a second season. If not, then that would be a good idea for a fan fiction.

I LOVE THEM SO MUCH♥ I really hope they'll make a season 2 or 3 or 4 if need be, I just need more of this entire story, the author is seriously a f*ckin genius for having written such an amazing story. The light novel of sayaka is a bit difficult to find though bc I only find downloads of the volumes but I don't have a VPN so you get my point, I just wanna read them online for free...anybody have any suggestions?
