@@GAZAMAN93X maybe to you, but to me every single time a random princess comes up and she isn't a plot device for revenge later it ruins it. Because they often have no personality or goals that make sense. They fall in love with a strange man and want to marry him after just seeing him do something... Anything. It's a obvious attempt for authors to feed their desires to be gifted with female attention for being a "good guy". They're EVERYWHERE

@@samsonshofoluwe2100 it isn't random. Maybe you haven't been paying attention but most of these fantasy series takes place in some fantasy medieval work. A lot of the times you'll have the mc working with or close to the nobility. Back in the medieval era it wasn't uncommon for kings & other nobles to marry off their children (daughters included) to either cement their power, increase it or both. Most often in these series if the MC is strong & not a douchebag of course you'll have the king, duke, viscount or whoever from high places introduce their daughters to the main character. Like if successful their status in the kingdom/empire is cemented & the mc is less likely to wander off & join a potential hostile enemy country. That's medieval politics for you.

Major issue of the story. He got far too strong to drive a good story. Taking on a cyclopse the hero team struggled for years on in the fight daily. Simply farming a few days. I can see a level raise spike killing the cyclopse after that battle. Being able to fight the werewolf with slight struggle.

That's generally how it goes in most jrpgs. Bosses are strong when under or at the same level. Overlevel a bit and then it becomes a pushover. Farming a rare mob that gives you tons of exp is pretty standard. The idea here is that because he's doing just that its breaking the game's default story which is causing things to change he won't be able to handle as easily.
