The iconic theme song was used in the opening credits for over 5,000 episodes from 1988 to 2010 before being replaced by an instrumental version for eight years. Then in 2018, an eight-second version of the song returned.
This year’s season finale marked the first time it’s been used at the end of an episode on Aussie TV and fans want it back.
Taking to social media, Home and Away fans demanded for it to become a permanent part of the show next year.
One fan said, “Anyone get emotional hearing the theme song? Please bring it back for 2025!”
