Went fishing for pink and caught 15 mostly on the fly rod, then I switched to a jig and landed some. Saw a massive chinook it was probably 14 pounds and it was really chrome. Hooked him up on a 6 weight fly rod and I was wading and she bolted right beside me almost snapped my rod then got off.

Nice man! I'v got a couple more saltwater videos I want to film but I'll be on the hunt for Pinks soon, hopefully before they turn all green goblin but im down for some goblin c&r too

@@freemanfishing350 nice, the pinks are really late this year they were supposed to show up around July 20 or earlier and they only just showed up like a week or 2 ago, and there is only like a few hundred, and there is supposed to be like 900 thousand. It’s really making me angry but at least I can catch some chromers. Hopefully next year they will come earlier.

I think you missed so many cause you were setting immediately give it like 5 secs to chomp . Guarantee your hook up ratio goes way up.

With the diver it trips even with a light strike so its kinda hard to. Or maybe I just don't understand how to.

30 - 60 is mostly where I was at, I know cuz I hit bottom a couple times in 60

Just got back from fishing, me and my buddy were trout fishing then it was time to leave so we tried twitching for pink for like 8 minutes and we both caught one.

Aint nothing like twitching for Pinks. Well... Coho are bigger but hit a Pink run at its peak and there are so many fish you can get bit almost every cast. Good to hear its a productive year up there!
