YakAttack DoubleHeader with Dual RotoGrip Paddle Holders

i have one of these paddle holders and it 's very nice. only issue i have with it, is that it hangs off the side of the kayak to where it interferes with me paddling. I can't dig deep into the water, but rather i have to extend it out into the water making it harder to go faster. im still trying to find a spot where it won't be in the way, but that few inch overhang makes a difference in paddling (for us non pedal drive kayakers). my paddle leash also gets tangled up in it.

Great idea but with the roto grips so close together it looks wobbly with the paddle attached.

It does look wobbly but it’s very secure. It is fine using just the grips but the straps adds extra security. This is a very solid paddle holder and allows you to use your rails. The fact that you can put another accessory on top is the icing on the cake.

Tried putting it on my ascend 12t today. With difficulty. The rails sit lower which puts the mount on an angle? Any solutions people have found? It works but I'm not to confident with it. Neither disc fit good either. Love the product just frustrated with the kayak lol

I’m trying to find a way to mount my paddle on my Hobie PA. Will this work using an H- rail slotted Mighty Mount? Love the looks of this paddle holder! Thanks

The DoubleHeader would work with the H-Rail MightyMount Adatper. Hobie stopped selling it but you can still find the MightyMount Adapter from Hobie online dealers.

I like it. Assuming a fish finder could be mounted on this as well? Will the parknpole fit in the holder?

You could use a fish finder with a YakAttack LockNLoad mount with it. The RotoGrip was designed around the standard kayak paddle diameter of around 1.19 inches. If you are using a YakAttack ParkNPole the diameter is too small for the wheels of the RotoGrip to engage the tubing.

If you were to take two ParkNPole RotoGrips and swap out the two included RotoGrips that come with this DoubleHeader it would work. You would need to use the lock nut and screw that attaches the stock RotoGrips on the DoubleHeader on the ParkNPole RotoGrips.

my audio is messed up. does the unit rotate clockwise/counterclockwise or must it always run parallel with the rail?

The DoubleHeader can be mounted in any orientation in relation to the track and doesn't have to be perfectly parallel.

There was an issue with the sound and if you are using earbuds it will only come out of one of them. The voice audio will play from the other side of the headphone or earbuds.

This would have to be slid forward so that it didn't interfere with the forward part of your paddle stroke. If so, is it then too far forward to reach comfortably? Change your background. Black on black is hard to see. The music needs to go.
