I have a isup for fishing. The chair legs are 1" round aluminum. Could a person insert a rubber mat strip in the h rail adapter to secure this mount to 1 " round tube?

I have been told the Hobie locking system can become lose on the way to the boat launch. Any experience with this?

Yes it can. I have lost the little red knobs before. But the YakAttack system is on point.
