Thanks for the video! Wilderness crate is so much better, although not cheap either. H-crate is a joke - no compartments, you have to buy seperately "accessories" and still it cost so much! I don't use either of these, just waiste of money...but anyway good video for those that needs one!

I current have a big fish 120 with a endura 30 and it’s not perfect. I saw a guy with a Hobie pro angler and he was moving with very little effort. I might need to switch lol would you say it takes little effort to “pedal” the pro angler?

H-Crate is a well thought out tool. I added a couple of bungie cords on mine to divide the interior of the crate. Tackle on one side. Misc on the other. Best feature is the rod holders on the corners!

Ok, just found your channel today. Two things jumped stright out immediately. Your Mich. t-shirt and kayaks. My two favorite things. Ok that being said, I just can't get onboard with these overpriced accessories. 150 for a basic crate? Afraid to ask how much for the additional piece. But you are apparently padding 1 of the most over priced yaks on the market. Having now expressed my dissatisfaction with the current ridiculous overwhelming pricing in the yak industry, I will say I'm excited to find another yakker involved in Mich.fishing. Look forward to catching up on your previous vids and future episodes. Final thought. My 15 dollar milk crate along with gear, has survived several flips on both the Pine river and the White. Can't say as much for my beer cooler.

😂 you’re gonna hate my channel! All my stuff is overpriced. That said, I still have my first $100 sit inside kayak, I used a milk crate for a long time, and I eventually worked my way up with all my gear. I grew up in Grand Haven so Grand river smallies is exciting. Been fishing for close to 60 years and still only eat fish of any type, about once a year, due to peer pressure so your podcast about a month ago looks interesting.

Best kayak crate? Not by a long shot. Wilderness Systems Kayak Krate is the best, by far imo. Comes with 4 adjustable rod holders, with room for two more. Has a nice utility lid. You can even rig it to double as a livewell, which I've done. It also looks the best, but again, jmo.

Different strokes for different folks! I almost see the wilderness systems, hobie livewell, and cooler style crates as a different category myself. Not something I would be looking for, but I could see some value there. Love hearing different peoples opinions on producs

@@aaanglers I think you're misunderstanding. WS kayak krate is meant only for plano boxes and is made to compete with all the kayak crates including the h-crate. It wasn't originally meant to be a livewell (WS has a separate livewell), but many guys, including myself modified it to serve double duty. That's what I was saying. It has that extra benefit that the h-crate doesn't. WS kayak krate is in the same category as the h-crate but outdoes it in every aspect that I can see (except the price. It used to be a little cheaper than the h-crate but now it's 25$ more expensive bc of the popularity.)

$150 LMBO! I like Berley Pro products but they are way over priced. I do not think the people in Austrialia are paying half that of what they are charging in the states. I have a Hobie PA14 and my used black pack works great and cost less to trick it out.
