The Yakima 8000146crb BaseLine Complete Car Roof Rack with Steel RoundBars and BaseClips attaches to vehicles with naked, smooth roof-lines. The BaseLine Car Rack is part of Yakima's StreamLine Series product line. BaseLine Towers utilize Yakima's unique bi-axial DropHook clip adjustment to assure a custom secure, streamline fit. Toe adjustment changes the angle of the BaseLine Towers for a perfect fit on vehicles with scalloped roof shapes. A pre-calibrated torque driver is included with the Baseline Towers to ensure the exact tightness level during installation. The Yakima BaseLine Complete Car Roof Rack with RoundBars includes 4 Yakima BaseLine Towers, 2 Yakima Steel RoundBars, 1 set of RoundBar SL Adapters, 2 sets of BaseClips and all attachment hardware. Yakima RoundBars and BaseClips are vehicle specific. Please check our Yakima Fit Guide for the exact BaseClips for your vehicle. Yakima's recommended RoundBar length and BaseClips will be supplied unless otherwise specified. If the measurement between the towers looks short when placing on roof. Will that gap between the rubber base close once bolts are tightened? The video is good, but wish the instructions would only be for round bars, and not mixed in with other pictures info not related to the bar i am using. I just got the yakima baseline towers and bars and bike mount. 5-21-2024, i just have to take my time installing and so far it is good, but making adjustments as needed, so i thought.

Hi, I bought these bars and they come capped together with 2 plastic caps on either end out of the box. i cannot figure out how to get them separated. could you tell me how??

You should just be able to wiggle them free the packaging they come in

Do the baseline towers come with round bar adapters or do you need to buy those separately?

Can you throw a bike rack on these type of bars?

What length are the round bars?

For this vehicle the roundbar size is 48". The size bar you will need will ultimately be determined by your vehicle as there is a spec for each vehicle fit
