Thanks for the video! How are you tying down the bow? What kind of an anchoring system are you using and where/how is it mounted in the front?

Demonstrate how one person places kayak onto rack system without scratching vehicle please .

Definitely put old towels on possible contact points! For me it's the rear spoiler as I load from the back. An old bath mat may be better, as it sticks to the vehicle...

Will two kayaks fit? Could you show the best way to load the kayak?

Hi Sue. This particular model is designed for a single kayak (but they may have other options that fit multiple kayaks). The saddle has roller wheels on the 2 rear mounts so that you can easily load the kayak from the rear of your vehicle and roll it towards the front mounts. Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions! I would really appreciate if you like and subscribe!

Folks hauling kayaks should be very careful about mounting bow lines. You definitely *should* have one (the lift on a kayak at highway speeds is really hard on the front rail of a roof rack) but choose the place you anchor carefully. I tried adjacent to the frunk latch, which is nice and secure, but the webbing moving in front of the forward camera actually triggered an automatic emergency braking sequence when there was nothing to brake for. So probably better to do a V-shape with anchors near the frunk hinges (close to the windshield). And you may have to give up on autopilot... :(
