Many japanese chefs seem so wholesome, the way they treat ingredients, and how they cook. This looks amazing tho yum for sure :)

I like this new format. However I would like more detail about the cooking process. So I might learn something from the video.

Shizuka’s personality and presentation is what makes these videos interesting. Without her I can watch a multitude of similar channels.

When the subtitles said "chicken breast is the most tender part" at 04:35 i assume it was supposed to be subtitled as chicken thighs? or do they have really weird chickens in Japan?

Interesting, but i prefer my Yakitori not to be so fancy. Seems to go against the working class honest roots of the food. Plus, if there's no blackened bits, it's not Yakitori.

To each their own. Common sense is not to eat raw chicken due to salmonella. In Japan, they have a high quality and safe level to eat this. Same with raw eggs. I wouldn't eat this in Australia, but in Japan, I will.

👎👎 Too many subtitles so I don’t have time to enjoy the video. Also, can’t read subtitles easily because of the colour! They need a box or to be yellow in colour, especially when most of the B-Roll used seems to be either white or light in colour. 👎👎
