I am very satisfied with your video because it's like visiting Yakutsia from my home in Spain. We haven't winters like yours but people is complaining about the cold in winter. I say them we are not in Siberia neither we have 50 ° Celsius bellow zero, it's only a matter of wearing tre right clothes. Greetings from Madrid. 🇪🇸💙
@VickyYakutia
@VickyYakutia 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, yes, you're damn right! Yakut is not the one who does not freeze, but the one who dresses warmly! But still, many travelers are freezing here, as they are equipped in their homeland, and here these clothes do not really help. A few days ago, an Italian extreme cyclist stopped his trip through winter Yakutia, as he froze his feet badly.

I love hearing about other cultures. I live in Alabama, USA. We are in out winter season right now. During the day the temperature is in the high 60’s to low 70’s and at night high 30’s to low 40’s. Last week we were in shorts, tank shirts and flip flops 🤷🏻‍♀️Our weather is crazy!🤦🏻‍♀️

@VickyYakutia
@VickyYakutia 2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you for such a flattering assessment! Well, we lived in Moscow for seven years, but then we were drawn to a small homeland. I have heard that golf courses have been cultivated for decades, so if you try, then in 30 years you will be able to play golf in Yakutsk (.❛ ᴗ ❛.) But I thought it would be much easier to make temporary golf courses on a frozen river 。゚( ゚^∀^゚)゚。

@VickyYakutia
@VickyYakutia 2 жыл бұрын
In summer we enjoy the sun, we have a short summer))) Yakut people are very enterprising. Perhaps the reason for this is the cold. The slow and lazy would not have survived. And many more in Yakutia are creative. We have a very developed film production. Russian film critics called this phenomenon Sakhawood, like Bollywood :) The IT industry is also actively developing now. The taxi-hailing app Indriver is a competitor of Uber originally from Yakutsk. We are also proud of the game development company - Mytona. Many young people work in the IT field. And in recent years, tourism has been developing in Yakutia.

-70°F. There has never been -70°C in Yakutsk. The record low temperature of -83.92°F was recorded in 1891. The climate has changed a lot since then. But Yakutsk is the most contrasting city in the world in terms of temperature - the annual amplitude is 102.8°C. Average temperature in winter -40°F. Do not believe hyping bloggers who claim that in Yakutsk -70°C. They are blatantly lying.

I guess if global warming ruins everything, we could go here. These are places that are so cold that fossil fuels or biodiesels maybe, still make sense here, but not somewhere hot like Arizona that should use solar.
@VickyYakutia
@VickyYakutia 2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, this is not quite true. Global warming is already affecting the usual way of life in the Yakut villages. The landscape is changing, something inevitable and terrible is happening. Will our grandchildren be able to live as carefree as we do in the unchanging Yakut nature? I don't think so. The BBC filmed a story about the changing climate in the Yakut village of Churapcha, it's not far from our village: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJDUqItoqpucndk

-70 degrees in Yakutsk is complete bullshit, it's a click bait. Yes it does get down to -55 in December sometimes, but not even every year, but seventy. And I keep seeing these mislead titles from the local KZbinrs - you're killing your own credibility folks. Such temperatures were recorded (rarely) in the town of Oymyakon which is waaaay out northeast.
