Modded. Look up "Helix Mod" and search for "Yakuza 0 - Kiwami". It's actually made to fix compatibility issues for those wanting to game with Nvidia 3D Vision kits (might work with other 3D solutions too), but I use it only for toggling the HUD on/off. I use it in combination with ReShade for shader effects (sharpening, RTGI etc) and SpecialK for accurate frame limiting + better window management. These are three .DLLs that needs to be hooked in a specific order on game start, so it's a bit of a hassle to setup. But it should be smooth sailings if you stick to only one of these, like Helix Mod for HUD toggling which is the most important one in this case 😄

It was that bad huh? 😂 No worries though, this "project" is just a part of my other stuff that I'm playing around with, so I'm fully aware that my results are suboptimal at best. Unfortunately this one out of all the other cinematics that I've have edited so far is a bit jank. All the cinematics have their animations capped at 30 FPS (i.e. the reason why I'm testing with interpolation at all, camera panning and lighting effects seem to be moving at native FPS though). This one however seem to freeze frames at an interval once every 10 seconds I think, by around 2-3 frames. There's a stutter unfortunately and I couldn't be bothered to manually fix it at the time. That said, If you're not in a hurry then I would recommend that you wait a few weeks as I'm planning on rerecording some of the scenes in 8K60. No promises though, if it fails then I'll try 4K60 again. When I have my hands on these new recordings I will try to upload this one on my Google Drive and share it with you for a limited time, filesizes becomes quite huge and I need my storage for other things 😅
