I lived near Tokyo for a year and although I understand just a tiny bit of Japanese, I can't understand a lick of what Majima is saying. Is it a specific Japanese accent?

I think he's using Kansai dialect. Saejima says something about Majima's Kansai dialect in Yakuza 4. So it's probably that. I'm not sure though.

@@rogueninjagaming248 Saejima pointed out that his Kansai was slipping in a flashback scene (Y4). Saejima and Majima aren't from Kansai, they just use the dialect to blend in with the Yakuza, but not many know that about them. You can actually notice Majima slipping out of the dialect or not using it in certain moments, usually serious ones, or in a professional environment (like back when he was running the Grand in 0). Pretty neat.
