Well on my end, after watching this I noticed I just had to maintain the combo and do at least 4 or 5 steps before hiting a note. Beated her in the second try.

Congrats! If you're confident with the steps, then that helps, but the combos to get Dance Fever is more important. You can't beat these hard Dance Battles without succeeding in Dance Fever.

I know they couldn't expand on every character when they updated the old yakuza games into the kiwami games, but THIS particular lady I always wonder what happened to her. We can presume she was perfectly fine, as I would expect. After all, in the final fight against Club Moon it was six platinum hostesses and I had THIS dancing queen and the obatarian herself in my lineup.

I've tried so hard to beat this, I've been stuck on it forever I can't seem to hit the combo right? What's best to use for the combo the D pad or Sticks?

I've always used the D-Pad. When you have to hit a specific direction input, I feel the D-Pad is always better. I also used the D-Pad to move around the squares. However, it's up to you, whatever you're most comfortable with.

@@DanBrown0531 thank you, I'm still stuck on that dance. I moved forward with the game and just made an older save to go back to it. Even in easy it's so hard. I can't seem to get the directional part down quick enough.

@@jamieupton5956 Sorry for the late response. The only tips I can give you is focus on getting combos, so you can activate dance fever. Dance fever is the only way to win these hard dance battles. Don't try to go overboard with the number of steps if you don't feel like you can do it. Combos are more important. Also, the more you play the song, you'll get better, because the button layout never changes. There's also a random element where Isobe (or Ogita in the other hard dance battle) will screw up dance fever. Take advantage of that. Practice makes perfect, and you'll eventually get it, because I was able to.

I managed to beat her on easy difficulty this evening after many tries. As mentioned below, I too switched from an xbox controller to a logiteck one. The stick of the xbox controller is awful. Also, some years ago I was operated on my left hand and It was even more difficult for me as my hand was getting tired quickly. So if me with a half disabled hand can do it, YOU can do it. Keep practising.

I stumbled across this substory while trying to get all of the gold hostesses and this took me almost 5 tries on easy and 2 on hard, its so infuriating that you have to beat her on hard so that she messes up giving you an upper hand to not make any mistakes no more than 4 with two full fever modes, on easy she wiped the floor with me but in the end i managed to beat her on hard

Well you can skip these difficult dance missions if you're not interested in doing every side mission.

Honestly I found her to be MUCH easier than Ogita, which took me many hours. The dance battles pretty much just come down to practice and luck.

I swear the AI cheats with her. There were tries where I am sure I made less mistakes than her and she still beat me 400-1000 points somehow.

It's so incredibly luck based it's not even funny. 10 times she completely outpaced by 500+ points and then just on one attempt AI somehow fucks up at almost every combo and she gets measly 4200 overall.

Yes there's a luck based factor, but there are ways to make it easier for yourself. Getting Dance Fever is the key to winning, more than anything else. Build up combos to get Dance Fever as much as possible. Also, if you're actually good, and can dance to the songs on Hard difficulty, do that. It would give you more opportunity to score points, and more opportunity for the AI to screw up. I suck at the minigame, so I had to do this on Easy difficulty lol

There's a point in the game where Majima wears sunglasses when going out on a date. That's when I decided to do the dancing substories. I'm sure you might be able to access them in premium adventure as well.

I won first try
