I really love the Lau Ka Long QTE because even though you fail it - it still goes on. I believe all QTEs in the series should like this. Firstly it's much more punishing for the player and failed QTEs would actually make a difference in a battle. Secondly, it just shows Kiryu as a total badass resistant enough to take those hits. EDIT. just realised I commented a 6 year old video XD I dunno if anybody will even read this :D

***** Yeah. Oh that reminds me, I had a dream like 2 days ago that had Ryo from Shenmue and Makoto from Yakuza 0. It was in a hospital, once I entered the room they were in, I saved the game (I don't know how that works, but I guess I was playing as myself in a game xD), and then Ryo pulled out a gun while i was sliding on my knees towards him to stop him from shooting Makoto, unfortunately, he shot Makoto in the cheek.

+Sean Hsu Yep, it is true! There are several other QTEs in this series where if you fail, you would die even if you were at full HP.

I don't really know how it triggers myself. But I think it only triggers when he gets his claws out and you try making some distance from him.
