I like this theme more than the Japanese version, you can feel the tension of the story within the music thanks to the cutscenes, giving you the feeling that everyone in this story is connected and something big is coming and is going to unfold (Much like the game's story). The beginning of the theme is introducing us to who we are gonna be following throughout the story (Coincidentally enough it shows the order of who you're going to play as). The part with the side characters also makes the theme fit well, telling you that these guys and gal are important as well, but not much. And then the music takes a short break after showing Daigo, indicating that everything revolves around him. The part after that is showing you that you can simply be a badass and that there are some things unfolding. The ending of the intro shows our 4 badass dudes facing a huge army of Yakuzas and ending it in a way, asking you "Are you ready?"

When I play, I play for the story. I finished Yakuza 3, 4 and 5. From 2 to 3, i felt the story weakening, in 4 its strength returned. And here felt so powerful. I kind of felt the reveals at the end, but could not tell the whole story until the end. And it surprised me. The characters were fasctinating. It was really great. I love this franchise! =)

This is my second favourite Yakuza, Yeah the story is kinda dumb, the ending is a let down, but the JOURNEY is great. This is the game that really went above and beyond at being the most RGG game in the series. more places to visit, more side missions, more content. 0 is where people should start the series. 5 is where fans should see the series at it's peak.

But that thing that really let me down to this games was the very big misunderstanding that was doing on between Haruka and Kazuma. Found something interesting when i started new game in it because I have almost all Yakuza games. Some of them imported from Japan and among them; Yakuza 1 & 2 HD Edition. When I started a new game I got the bonus items from Yakuza 3, 4 and Dead Souls, but funnily enough, I also got the bonus from Yakuza 1 HD and Yakuza 2 HD. Could this mean Sega is planning Yakuza 1 & 2 or could it be some mistake? When I played Ryu Ga Gotoku 5, I don't think I got the bonuses from 3, 4 and Dead Souls :/

To be fair, the intro is what intros have always been; highlights. You’re not forced to watch the intro, and it’s actually advised not to. The Yakuza community in general says so until you beat the game, as they all spoil some part of the games they’re in

+Joel Yo Did you know that in Japan, they don't release new Dragon Quest games on weekdays out of fear kids will skip school to go buy and play them? And the yakuza supposedly used to steal shipments of DQ games so they needed police accompaniment until they got to the stores. I kinda wish Yakuza was like that over here in the west.

I want to be happy that this game is finally internationalized, but I can't; it's not available in Region 3. It doesn't make sense, since 4 and Dead Souls are still there on PSN, and Ryu ga Gotoku 0, but no Yakuza 5? Pardon my language, but this bullshit is fucking unfair :( I read that Australia got it days ago, and as far as I remember I don't remember any info telling us that Region 4 will be getting them, but they did. I want to believe that we'll get it later, but... Yes, yes. I know I can just make a Region 1 account to buy this thing, but I don't want to. What if when I buy it, the R3 version pops out? I don't want to waste my money. Sorry for the rant, but I am genuinely happy that fans are enjoying it... but this is just sad.
