The reason these guys don't have a lot of health isn't because the game is trying to make the fight easier. It's because Kiryu isn't holding back.

They probably shouldn't have relied on numbers, when you do that every guy ends up hoping the other guy is the one to take down Kiryu so his motivation to fight( health) ends up nullified by a single punch. Not that it would have mattered because even if they had sent in a hand full of actual heavy hitters and they got zero'd by Kiryu the rest would have wussed out immediately. Tl;dr Kiryu would have destroyed them no matter what.

Thanks as always. Yes, I wanted to improve that video. Honestly, when I played the game on ps3 I didn't think it was possible without food buffs or equipment. After 4 years, I would say that I was wrong. About the views of the OG Video, it's very difficult to be honest, when I made that video it was the GREAT time when a lot of people were playing yakuza 0 and discovering the potential of this saga in terms of plot, gameplay and amazing char like kiryu, makoto majima etc. Also the youtube algorithm favored me, now I strongly doubt, lol.

The original video was one of the many reasons I decided to play through the entire series. Now that I've beaten Y0-6, I feel I've barely scratched the surface of what these games have to offer. It's not easy doing challenges like this, yet you make it look so effortless. Thanks Coke. Yeah, that video along with mr.shakedown video in yakuza 0 is the most viewed in this channel. This version is definitely better for two reasons: 1) no equipment. 2) no food. NT: without food the difficulty increases a lot, because you are more exposed against the enemies. usually when the focus bar is max out by the food. The heat gauge/bar fills up quickly, for example just the execution of a simple combo: ss + t is enough in order to active dragon's rage quickly and protect yourself a lot

It's tatsuya training, Every character meets Tatsuya, even Haruka. As the host of a traveling cooking show, he's always looking for the next great taste. Through the course of the story, you'll automatically stumble across Tatsuya in different situations. Speak to him and he'll ask you to find some restaurants for him to try out. Explore all the restaurants (and some food stands) in your city and if your character comments on if Tatsuya would be interested, you'll know you've found one. Report back to Tatsuya and you'll take him to the restaurant. There are three restaurants for each character to find for Tatsuya, and every time you take him he'll teach you a new level of his training. In this game, each item of food you eat may have the chance of increasing a special ability: Str = Strength - Damagex2. Fcs = Focus - Heat Gauge stays above a certain point Spr = Spirit - Boosts Heat Moves power

If you've completed Chapter 2 of Kiryu, then you've basically unlocked it. Basically, for Kiryu, there are certain restaurants you have to visit, and you need to go back to him on Ose Bridge to report to him. He'll unlock some stats for you, then you can go into basically any food place and eat any food there, all of them give you one of three different stats. He's available for every character.
