This game has some of the best dynamic intros for me, it's one of the things it excels at in my opinion. I tried to include enough of cutscenes for each one to give them a good buildup.

Those are legitamate fighting techniques, in most Eastern Asian martial arts (the ones I’ve studied [not necissarily practiced] Hapkido, Karate) utilize the concept of Ki, or energy. The hand postions allow Ki to flow to that oart of the body and hardens it. In a totally literal sense, it allows a trained body to both allow adrenaline to reach that part, and forces certain muscles to flex and tendons to retract to harden that surface, both allowing greater defense and stronger strikes, and certain techniqes require certain positions

Damn. I love Nagumo's theme. Its low and deep like its trying to be scary and foreboding but the tune makes it come out as playful and goofy, totally fits how he fights. Also, 4:37 Just to clear up the translations here. 桐生来了！ 快阻止他！ "Kiryu is here! Hurry up and stop him!" 老大现在店里。 别让任何黑帮接过来！ "The Boss is in the shop right now. I’ve had something similar happen to me, but not a dynamic Intro. On the Yakuza 4 Akiyama and Tanimura fight, I got to the QTE but Akiyama was absent and Kiryu was just holding air instead of Akiyama. I think Akiyama disappeared from the QTE because I defeated him and only had Tanimura left to fight, and the QTE happened even though Akiyama was defeated.

I wish I could say for sure. Maybe Chinese and Korean name structures aren't the same. E.g: Big Lo isn't Lo Big, but Han Joon Gi is Joon Gi Han.

Both Chinese and Korean names put family names before first names For some reasons localization switches name for Japanese and Korean, but not Chinese You could google a Chinese name, like Mao Zedong, and his name is usually written in Chinese order, but a Japanese name like Hideo Kojima is written in Western order. (Kojima is his family name)
