I think there's a guy that looks EXACTLY like Shimano, he's bald and has similar-looking tattoos in the show. Giving Shimano hair makes him seems generic in my opinion.

Where could one have found such actors in Japan who look like they do in the games. In the games, almost everyone seems very tall and muscular with striking faces. Nothing comes close to the games anyway, but the reality can sometimes be different. but shimano could have done better.

I watched 2 episodes and haven't bothered to watch the rest. I hope filmmakers and producers who adopt a source material should try to make an effort to understand what made the source material great in the first place, instead of making their own spin on things which no one cares about.

I can‘t believe that the low budget movie from like 2006 is 100 times better than an Amazon production which cost millions. Just terrible, the whole show had nothing to do with the Yakuza franchise and even as a standalone story it was extremely weak.

If it gets a Season 2, and they get some of the Characters from Y2 or Y3, and do it wrong. I swear, they should've gotten better lessons from a Good Film Production, instead of Ben Ramsey, James Wong, and Stephen Chow (if you don’t know those guys, I recommend looking up the Film Production they've film, that I won't say).

Plot was good enough and the acting but some of the cast is a huge minus. The action is meh. Not a lot of Kiryu fights. I could just watch Crows Zero.
