Miss Alice, your content is really ese full and cool but I have a doubt, have You ever produce in other DAW, LIKE BITWIG STUDIO, Reaper, Ardour, Lógico pro, Cubase or other ?

1:45 I have to do an ”actually” here. You say shimmer basically means one octave higher. Shimmer doesn’t tune at all, if feedback is at 0. Only if you touch the feedback knob, the shift is going to introduce tuned audio to the signal.

hello, i wanna start and make some soundtracks for my slideshows, presentations. Something ambiental, melodic trance, such things. I can't invest over 250-280$ for that, is just a hobby. What would you recommend in terms of hardware and/or software/plugins ? I-ll have in mind the Roli LUMI Keys Studio Edition, is it a good choice? My actual music skills and knowledge = -100

"Look how much difference this single FX chain makes"... that single FX chain with over 200 dollars' worth of plugins... (50 bucks each for Shimmer and Vintage Verb, plus 100 bucks for Timeless).

well, you can use it in multiple tracks lol. its not like you lose them after one use

I get where your coming from! But lots of those plugins are industry standard, so lotsa folks will have them

It's sucks that it's totally impossible to apply the principles without access to these specific plugins.

One advise to new guys before you use any signal chains, study physics and digital audio first it will save you years of struggle.Digital audio is not as simple as analog.Study what is fir filters, time domains ,phase response.Using low cuts change the wave form and the phase this has to be done extremely precisely before it sounds unnatural this days can be done also dynamically to reduce the artifacts.Nice videos of this lady cute channel
