Yamaha AG01 - Best USB Mic for LiveStreaming?

Yamaha lent me the new Yamaha AG-01 Live Streaming USB microphone and this thing is excellent for any live streaming musician without a maxed out studio.

Do the effects (reverb, EQ, compression) get applied to the AUX IN as well? Or only to the actual microphone (like if you're singing)? I hear effects on your guitar. Did those come straight from the microphone and its dedicated app? Or did the effects come from Studio One?

Hey. Sorry for the delayed response. The reverb is from the AG-01. EQ and compression is both from AG01 and a touch of Pro EQ in Studio One.

Would you mind to try out the aux port with guitar jack directly?

Hi. This won´t work very well. The AUX input has very low gain, and is expecting line level signals (+4-dbu). A guitars output is very low level and requires an amplifier or a microphone preamp like the unit I am using. Sorry

Hi. No, the AG01 is a sound card itself. It can replace your soundcard :) But it will not connect to another sound card unfortunately.
