Great playing! I am seeking out the APXT2

I just bought my APXT2. I bought it because I had been searching for a Parlor Guitar, specifically an old Harmony or Kay in good condition, without much success. While the APXT2 was a bit out of the price range I was looking for, I was impressed with the similar acoustic qualities to those old 40's and 50's Parlor guitars, Also, the body profile, scale length, and overall size is very similar as well. The nearest thing I was looking for was the Gretsch Jim Dandy Deltoluxe, which had a considerably higher price tag compared to the APX2. I realize there is a different visual aesthetic, but I feel the APX2 is quite capable of producing the audio aesthetic that I am looking for

3:27 Looking for the cable input. Glad they they put it underneath on the APXT2. Wish the APX500 did this too. Danger of breaking on the 500

🇿🇦Cape Town, South Africa Many thanks from a lady with small hands. I have researched extensively on choosing my 2nd guitar, which, this time, will be a 3/4 acoustic electric. I have a 1974/5 Ibanez (Japan) Classical Acoustic (nut is 2"/50mm)full size, dreadnought, which is difficult for learning having small hands. It's a fabulous guitar, which I will not part with, but I wanted something smaller to learn more on......then when my fingers have stretched, I can use both. Your comparison demo has been the best that I have watched & I have watched tons & now driving my husband up the wall. 🤗🎸👏🏽👍🏽💎 I am going to buy the Yamaha APXT2 soon.

I was a bit disappointed he didn't address the tighter fret spacing that the short scale length demanded. I'm sure it helps those with small hands, but how difficult is it for those with normal size hands?

how powerful is the sound of the Yamaha APXT2, a person is selling me that guitar i found it very beautiful but since is small, maybe it does not sound with power, how is the quality? i appreciate your help

If I was learning guitar and I did it on the compact one, would I have any problems transitioning to the full size one later on?

Hey Markyz just a few queries on the APXT2: 1) How is the sound quality in your opinion? Of course, don't expect it to emulate the sound of a full-size guitar but how close does it come when it comes to fullness in the sound? 2) How is the playability and feel of the fret? is the action adequate for the higher frets? 3) considering I have bigger hands and thicker fingers do you think the fret size would be a problem for me?
