After seeing how well you went in the snow I ordered a set of tracks for my CFMOTO Snyper 800 today. It has a very similar 4x4 system to the grizzly with 2 wheel, 2wheel and diff lock, so the tracks may be perfect for trapline adventures. Thanks for posting great videos!

I have these exact same tracks on my 2021 700 Grizzly. I have to say they are worth every penny. $5000 for the set. Only downfalls to them is, they do not perform well in slush at all and steering is far more difficult. Still worth it though. Thanks for sharing.

Really need to use your dif-lock always when using the tracks. The tracks don't free wheel as easily as tires do therefore if both front tracks aren't under power then one of them is just like dragging a log on the front of your wheeler. Great video as always. Thanks.

Excellent video! I'm anxious to ride my Tatous this winter!!! Just make sure you check the bolts in the axles of the tracks... Had some problems this evening, coming back from a bear hunt... One of the bolts went loose, and the track popped out... I had to come back home, to pick up a jack and some tools, but now everything is reinstalled... Make sure you bring a set of tools in case a track popps out...

Another awesome video you guys! Our snow season is coming to an end, the trails are getting slushy and lots of dirt/mud parts, won't be too long that it'll be mud bog season here, so time to clean up the Grizz and do some routine maintenance on her. Might get her a new set of shoes - thinking Bighorns as I don't care for mud, otherwise I'd go Zillas for sure. Thake care.

Thanks for the video! I was thinking of buying a Kodiak 450 EPS SE until I decided I would like to have tracks for winter. We are in Okanagan, Kelowna BC. Lots of elevation changes. Valley bottom 1000 feet, 4000 feet is elevation of a bunch of the lakes. Definitely need the 700 for snow. How are you strapping down your quad? I have heard the best way is to strap wheels down with the locking channel on bottom of trailer. Pulling down on your quad can be hard on suspension. We always did that with our dirt bikes, and not too much trouble. Just wondering what you do.
@cubbeezx3 жыл бұрын
We used to always use ratchet straps to hold them down until we gotbour superclamps which work awesome but apparently they dont make them anymore
@canesser111 жыл бұрын
I've noticed that the video camera does not do justice to the snow depths in my experience, was trying to demonstrate the day I got caught in the slush and it simply did not do it justice. This is a crazy year for snow accumulation. Tough with a passenger too as it defeats the flotation. Tracks for your wife next year!

@cubbeezx11 жыл бұрын
More cc's can't hurt! Probably depends on what type of snow you have too. Our snow is very dry and sugary so you can't really stay up on top of it so more power get's you through the deep stuff!

Do you 'tie' it down the same way as you do with tires? I saw your video on the very neat lock down system. Does it work with the tracks? I know it will be allot wider with the tracks installed so I am a smidge bewildered :-/
@cubbeezx11 жыл бұрын
Yes, when the tracks are on they will not fit in the Superclamps so we have to use tie down straps. (They do make a tie down system for snowmobiles though). The Grizz is a lot wider with tracks on for sure! Don't think we'd get 2 quads on our trailer if they both had tracks!

Great vid cubbee.........a little OT but what mount are you using for your GPS? I have the same model and that looks like it was made for it.
@cubbeezx11 жыл бұрын
Hi there! We use RAM Mounts...they make them specifically for your GPS which means they fit great and are tough! If you go to RAM Mounts page/site they have a "finder"...just plug in your type of GPS and it will give you the right cradle. We use a ball mount fixed to the handlebars with an arm and then the cradle. Works great. Hope this helps!

Great video, have you ever thought about a side by side, I like mine better than the 4 wheeler it's easier on my back, plus you get to talk with your passenger easier. A desiel would be great for all those long trails you do
@cubbeezx11 жыл бұрын
Thanks Russ! Some of our trails are pretty narrow so not sure how good a side by side would take them....lots of UTV's around though. We use a SENA bluetooth communicator to talk back and forth when we are out riding ... so that works out nice too. Diesel would come in handy when riding for a long time..so far though we haven't had to take extra gas. Thanks for watching, we appreciate it!

Hi Cubb, great video. I am looking for a quad with tracks, I was thinking of a larger quad since I have a 500 honda ( no tracks ) Do they make a large set of tracks for a larger quad or are you satisfied with the horse power of your Grizz. Thanks
@cubbeezx9 жыл бұрын
+Bob Smith The tracks do gear down the ATV so top speed is definitely reduced...the Grizzly 700 handles the tracks no problem, but it is nice to have a bit more power if you are trying to go faster on them. The Kodiak 450 handled the tracks no problem...but top speed was only about 30 mph. Steering with the tracks is more of a challenge even with power steering on the Grizz. We did find the Commander tracks easier to steer. The tracks are the same size for all models (at least for Yamaha and Can Am) but different mounting kits are required. Hope that helps!

@cubbeezx8 жыл бұрын
It doesn't really feel sluggish ( the more power you have the better) but the tracks gear down the ATV about 30% so you definitely can't go as fast as with wheels. They are heavy though but still spin quite easily the way they are designed. Hope that helps!
