Awesome video dude; stumbled upon this looking for new fenders for my banshee and I was pleasantly surprised that you mentioned me lol. These look like they're better quality than Maier and similar to the UFO plastics made for the banshee that are sadly discontinued to the best of my knowledge.

Vito's as a retailer doesn't have the best reputation in the world, for various reasons, however I really think however they pulled off their line of plastics--they knocked it out of the park. The 1997 Banshee I put together using those plastics looked incredible, and still does today. It's a shame the prices for the plastics have skyrocketed but the market dictates that. You can build several OEM colorway bikes again that you couldn't up until recently and that's a good thing, keeps the Banshee alive 👍Thanks for watching man, been watching your stuff for years and looking forward to your legends tour coverage and upcoming banshee trail build for sure 🤙

@@NolanHimself well said, I appreciate the love; the plastics for the trail banshee will probably be from Vitos 🤘

Good comparison Man. I watched sabos vid then this one. Another thing vitos has is the full depth tool tray. Forget if u mentioned that. Lol I'd buy either. I need a few sets here pretty soon so I'm doing research. Thanks for the help

amazing video. thanks pal. colour matching 100% ? i own some brand new oem plastics and i can't find new for the tank. Vito's have some now. its 100% same colour?

The yellow Vito's tank plastic I have are 100%. They're so good I was wondering if they shipped me the OEM pieces they used to copy and replicate. The blue set I have however, are several shades off the OEM Yamaha blue. They're really so off that I don't want to use them. Thanks for the good words 🤙

Thank you very much for your reply. Personally, do you think I will see different colors if I have the original front and back and those of the Vitos in the tank?

How do the parts swap? I have new blue OEM plastics but the tank cover is not in production anymore. Do you think the Vito crank cover would fit well on your Oem plastics?
@NolanHimself2 жыл бұрын
Not too sure. I would imagine that they work "fine" together. The Vito's ON BIKE, bolted down definitely need some fine tuning to fit 100%. The 97 I did with all Vito's looked kinda wonky before some tugging and pulling and straightening of everything. I actually have two sets of OEM front and rear fenders right now that have never been installed on a frame both with Vito's tank plastic but I've never test fitted either set on bike. I did however test fit a Vito's radiator cover on some OEM front fender and tank plastic the other day when I was working on my brothers quad because the Vito's radiator covers always look crooked to me in hand, it seemed to fit fine after a little effort.

@@NolanHimself thanks for the reply. I am doing 2 build on here myself. One a 05 and the other a 92. The 92 will go back to stock…ish. And the 05 I have new OEM plastics minus the tank cover. Yamaha is playing games by discontinuing the blue tank covers. Debating on trying to find a blue vinyl wrap and wrapping any tank cover to match, or trying out the blue Vito’s tank cover.

@@juicer911 how did they end up fitting? Debating the same thing.
@juicer9112 жыл бұрын
@@rexieloveeric11.17 honestly, I’m not sure. I store them away with the other plastics for a future build. The colors are very close though. Not spot on, but not noticeable unless you are looking.

Do all of the Yamaha oem plastics have the black rivits? I'd like to make sure plastics I have are oem and not after market

I only have one request from the aftermarket fender companies, they need to start making the special 90s colors.. I really would love to get a nice set of 91-95 fenders and not pay 1500$ a set for OEM

i would have to agree, i felt kinda spit on when talking to them about them shipping parts in very thin boxes. twice my package showed up at the border damaged and had to be taped up by customs
