Dont ever beat a bearing down into its bore or sleeve by hitting the inner race. Either hit the entire surface area or only the outer race... and support the inner race from behind when pressing a hub or shaft through the bearing...

Was a cheap ebay one I dont recommend it but it was a plus 2 on each side
