Blake Angelos favors ASLANS CFX 1 as the primary piano sound for his regular jazz gig at Aslan Depot in Bellingham, WA. Assigned to Keys A, the CFX Voice, complemented by damper resonance and a touch of compressor effects, provides precise level control during live performances with drums, bass, and horns. Keys B is dedicated to the 73Rd sound with a compressor engaged in Effect 2. Blake strategically assigns the SPX Chorus to Effect 1, kept in the off position but ready to deliver a powerful chorus effect when a ballad calls for it.

ASLANS CFX 2 represents a variation of "Aslan's CFX 1," distinguished by the effects assigned to Keys B. Both LoFi and Ring Modulator effects are allocated to Keys B, with the overarching Looper Delay assigned to the Effect block for all Parts. All these effects are stored in the turned-off position. This Live Set, carefully curated by Blake Angelos, proves invaluable for performances demanding unique and cool special effects. Activating the Keys B effects and introducing the Looper Delay adds a layer of captivating looping texture to the music when desired.
