Had a yellow 97 with CT 240 big bore Awsome machine so fun to ride. I got an 04 that I'm building now with CT 240 and yellow 97 plastic I found on eBay.

Can you make a video on how you got it to run without holding the throttle I just got mine and it wont stay on idle without me holding the throttle

Try messing with the idle screw located under the seat. Twist it until it makes a difference and change it from there.

@@dustinlee1791 no. They are the same engine. Nothing is different engine, carb, gearbox or gearing wise. Anyone who says the old shape or new shape is faster is wrong. It all comes down to how heavy or light the rider was. What condition the engine is in etc. Tyre choice etc. The new shape models are better in my mind because you don't have the crappy drum brakes up front. You have disks

BlazeTrent buy gas at the station then buy a special 2 stroke oil meant to be mixed with gas at 32-1 typically

Unplug your tors system that also can help how it runs and avoiding other problems . Just unplug the pig tail the runs off the top of the carb

That’s a nice spot you got there, I got my yard and a field there’s a couple ramps and there’s a sandmound in my yard that is stead like that and I ramp it and get all fours off the ground you have to shift I have an 03 blaster she looks like a piece of shit but it’s a sleeper haha and it’s hard to start but once it gets going it’s goin she just needs to warm up

The 2003-2006 blasters have hydraulic front disc brakes and they are easier to do wheelies on. On the other hand the 1986-2002 blaster has rear and front cabled drum brakes and it’s a little harder to do a wheelie on. But whichever one you choose is fine

Don't take a blaster and deep water don't slam a blaster in water they have those little black caps for the breather tubes water can leak right through them trust me I have water in my crankcase and it took me for oil changes to get it all out
