cool machine!I wonder what you would need the whole random soundeffects pads for though. I understand in general midi for programming for like games n stuff but what would they be used for like in a live performance? haha I can imagine Me on stage jammin n then out of no ware "meow!" "woof woof honk!" Hahaha. Having a vision impairment I could easally accidentally bump em.

Does it have a buil-In RHYTHM pattrns such as Latin-American beats as CHA-CHA o Tango ? can you connect a MIDI in-put for SYn-chronizations of beat.

Can you assign any sound to the pads? For instance, kick drum far right and snare far left?

Radiofred yes you can assign any sound to any drum pad so you can have the sounds in anyway you want with the pads

It may not be the best drum machine out there, but I have had a lot of fun on this over the years, got this for xmas back in december 2002, it was my very first drum machine, I'm not a drummer but I like to mess around with the drum machines just for fun, I'm a keyboard player mainly.
