I guess for a stand I can use a regular snare stand? Or do they sell one special for it?
@KeyboardKrazy494 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I haven’t found a stand perfect for this drum machine, but I’m sure a standard snare stand should work well with it

Which software should I use to record my beats? I tried using audacity but the dd65 wasn't recognized by it :-/
@acerbt Жыл бұрын
Well, it depends on the format you want to get those beats in. If you want midi, a daw like reaper would work. Also any basic midi sequencer woud work as well. To record audio, you could use audacity or any other daw to record the sound coming from the headphone output to your computer, over an audio interface.

After lostening to this and the dd 55, I've realized that even though the newer units (the 65 and 76) have gained sounds, the 55 actually has better versions of the xg sounds. It uses the ones found in higher end psr keyboards like the psr 740 among some other things. Now all we have for xg drum sounds on the new ones are the xglight kind. That goes for the melodick patch bank as well.

Can we play the pedal with the stick?? Because my leg has problem😢😢
@KeyboardKrazy494 жыл бұрын
You could but it’ll be quite difficult as it is smaller that the drum pads and you might have a difficult time doing so, they are intended to use with your feet, but you can always practice using the pedal with sticks and then hopefully you can get used to it. Thanks for watching!

but you should be able to create your own kit with the kickdrum on any pad.
@rafaelbarcinas83993 жыл бұрын
you can assign each pad, you can make one of the Pad as a bass drum so you can still play it as a full drumset without using the kick pedal...

Please Have you ever tried using a piano sustain pedal on the kick port before did it work? For the dd65

I’m afraid I haven’t tried that before, if I ever do try it, I will let you know if it works or not

The kick is a standard drum trigger type input so it accepts a velocity censitive pad or in this case, pedal. The high hat is just an on and off switch, and yes it does work with standard 2 position sustain pedals.
