Thanks for the DTX12 Multi Firmware update, although I'm not using these Yamaha triggers, the trigger presets work great as a starting point for Roland RT30HR and RT30K, I may hop over to the Yamaha triggers if the compatibility factor offers a bump in performance but I'm not sure it's going to be much different than what I have.. Also, Larnell is the man

Andre Duracell, Sebastian Arnold, Cory Flanigan, Primary Mystical Experience, and Leclanché Lacoste do this too. Brian Chippendale has a similar style but he uses triggers to engage feedback loops. I recently developed an Ableton/Max for Live patch that triggers synths with drums too. I am looking forward to where this hybrid drumming process goes in the future! The future looks bright!

@@user-we4rs1be7u you might appreciate this; i recently wrote some code for a Retrokits MIDI cable that lets me store 4 chords, trigger them in sequence, play the notes of the chord (random) and generates bass notes based on a weighted-random distribution. Are there any drum modules where I can add my own sound to them via mp3/midi file and have them be triggered?

very ,very ,basic trigger demos... its a high cost trigger .a load of rim triggers can be done with the most basic bug .I'll see if any of the other vids show more promise
