Actually I believe that you can edit the kits.This is a mistake. There is an app for it to help. Would you recommend this kit?

Yamaha does offer an app. We didn't play around with it though. Yes we do recommend this kit in this price range. The sounds are decent and it's a Yamaha kit so built to last. It's also very small and portable. There are a lot of kits in this price range but most are not built to last. This one for sure is. It would be nice to have mesh heads and more features for sure but it seems you have to go up in price to get those features on the premium brands like Yamaha.
