Hi, I'm not the best to ask this as I'm not a Git/vox person. For some general advice, you might want to get a good all-round condenser mic, (e.g. Rode or Audio-Technica etc), and experiment with placement. Alternatively, you could try two decent dynamic mic's, (e.g. Shure SM57 for guitar - Shure SM58 for vox). Ask at a local music shop if you have one near to you.

Bit frustrating when guitars arrive like that. I have fettled in the past but frankly can't be bothered anymore, I'd rather be playing. So effectively it would be better to buy a more expensive guitar with a better set up than pay £155 then pay £50 set up🤔 I know it won't cost you the additional.

Hi and thanks for the comments. I agree, but unfortunately not everybody can afford to drop several hundreds or thousands on a guitar, (especially given the current economic climate). I was just trying to illustrate that with a little bit of time & effort even a budget end guitar can be made to play much better. Plus I probably do more fettling than playing these days 😂
