Good observations, i have also purchased the fz 25 about the same time you did, may i know what was th on road price in your state and what things were included with bike and do we need the engine plate to cover up from bottom becuase its totally wide open, if we look at other bikes of 200cc segment they all have some kind of engine cover or a thin plate preinstalled by thr manufacture and one more thing did you rev your bike till 120 or 100 kmph as lots of people not recommending it before 1000km.

good review 😀 I am owner of fz25 (white) , quite happy and disappointed at the same time, cons- - lack of 6th gear - headlight illumination - lack of gear indicator - top speed (135 in my case till now) pros - price obviously - acceleration (take a test drive and you will feel it) - looks ( look it in real, not images and video on net then you will know) - fuel tank overall, between 0-100 kmph this one kills, not made for top speed, looks are quite good but some graphics and different colours combination would have made it a much better, performance depends on the rider how he pulls off from this machine, beginners will love it and experienced one will feel the difference, believe me, in city condition no bike can beat this, acceleration, flexibility, breaks etc. , not a beast but not a toy as well , for this price segment this bike justify it's position don't compare it with Duke ( 30k more for 200 and 50k for 250) and you want same performance, and ns200 (we all know the build quality and brand) to be honest only rtr200 gives it a competition before buying it, have some 3-4 options, go for a test drive of each and then decide, mostly you will end up buying this one or RTR if you have budget of Less than 1.4 lacs if you don't have budget problem then definitely go for KTM just 2 or 3 things would have made it a killer and beast that no one could have defeated 😀
@pritamchatterjee49527 жыл бұрын
I did 143kmph on mine a few days ago. Let the engine set into place, you will find the difference. And yes the only thing that bugs me is that rattle like sound coming from the engine if we try to accelerate it while it's hot. Is that the oil filter doing its job or something else?

Bro, have a couple of questions. Do we get after market headlights and mud guard to compensate the not so good stock? How's riding experience on long ride? Do you think this bike makes a good tourer? I have to choose between pulsar 200ns and Yamaha. What do you think? My usage will be daily 20 kms ride to metro station and back to home and long rides over the weekend. Pls let me know your thoughts.
@WeekendWandererJensen7 жыл бұрын
+Murali B you can install auxiliary lights and mudguard of rx100 fits for the front. Fz150 tire hugger should do the job, but I haven't seen. Yes it's a good tourer.. I've done 2 long rides on it.. 800km and 950km.. no complaints about it

the mud guards are ok and have no design defect. every bike has the same condition in heavy rainfall or just during the rainy season. what do you expect a bike , to be clean in rainy season ? impossible. well headlight could be an issue . that's it. ! but it's a fantastic bike.

How ever i have been driving yamaha since very long and always like their refinement and build quality, however in this video mudguard looked to be a major issue with your experience..

@nathggnath7 жыл бұрын
Personally I would go with fz from your list coz I liked the fz more compared to other 2 on my test rides. But it's all up to you. Just test ride those then deside.
@roadrunner27577 жыл бұрын
Manish Pandey 1st thing its better you take a test ride of all the mentioned bikes. 2nd thing if you are considering RE 350 then i guess you better increase your budget and go fot dominar. you will get ABS and performance both. or if budget is really tight than fz or ns are good options. but do take a test ride of new bajaj BS 4 engines they are much smoother than before.

Well, I'm not an experienced rider and this is gonna be my first bike purchase. The demands are basic - Comfortable for city rides as well as the highway, performs well, low maintenance, fuel efficient, etc. What would be your pick between the RE Classic 350 and FZ25?
@WeekendWandererJensen7 жыл бұрын
+Mayan Shrivastava I personally felt the RE requires more maintenance. FZ 25 has better performance in terms of Acceleration, Top speed. Fuel efficiency is almost same for both FZ has good lower end torque for good city rides and u can cruise at 90-100 easily on highway. U can do the same on RE, but the bike will vibrate.
