I have had my FZ6 S2 since 2007 and fitted a full fairing , this then is the best looking Bike on the road ,as was previous Fazers owned.

Nice one! I do like the full fairing look but belly is my preference. Good choices on bikes by the way 👍

Quick piece of advise: don't get the tankcover. My experience with bikes that have such leather tank covers is that very small dirt will get between the leather and the tank and function like sanding paper due to the vibrations of the bike while driving. The two bikes I came across personally that had those on left me with a completely scratched tank underneath. And actually I did get scratches on the bikes that I've owned, but never on the tank. So maybe that's not really the thing to worry about. Awesome bike and review man, thanks! I'm looking around for a secondary bike besides my cbr1000rr, since that's not really comfortable touring around with the wifey and during winter drives. The fz6 is getting in my head as the top option to go for, since it can still go kinda fast but is also comfortable for the longer tours. Thanks again!
@FabMotorbikes3 жыл бұрын
Wow excellent piece of advice thank you! You’ve probably saved me a lot of money and heart ache. Especially as my tank is in pretty good condition. I would recommend the FZ6 for what you’re describing. It can be a rugged winter work horse and a fun ‘sportier’ bike. And great for pillions with the large handles and peg lower hand kit 👍

Exactly right about bike's making them the way you want them to be/look like. Yamaha have genuine replacement led blinking more compact less drain on the battery and brighter than the original bulb type.

Yes being so easily customisable is part of the beauty and fun of motorcycles. I just made a video on replacing the bulbs, but starting to wish I had upgraded them.

I tried to order the Red fox belly pan for my Fazer S2 2010. After sending them an email what specific type I should order their short response was not clear at all and confusing, not only for me but for several fellow riders that saw it. I asked them again to email me the link of the specific model and they just refused saying that we luck of communication. Professional!

Have your mods except belly pan and side cases. Had mine singing yesterday passing cars after dropping 3 gears. I'm getting rid of the bt31 tyres for some Bridgestone S21 tyres. Front suspension next,getting tired the old girl. Like me at 70 .
@FabMotorbikes3 жыл бұрын
Sounds like your having loads of fun! And I hope to be out passing cars too in 40 years time 😊 good on you. My front end is doing okay… the suspension is definitely not the most sophisticated on this bike but does me well. I’ve been planning a fork oil change for a while. That’ll probably be an up coming video 👍

Great video, thanks. I like the radiator guard too. Was the belly pan easy to fit? I’m guessing it comes with the necessary bolts/clamps. I’m going to fit clear indicators on mine ( 09 FZ6N s2. You should think about fitting them to yours too.
@FabMotorbikes4 жыл бұрын
Radiator guard is a great addition and must have. Mine came with my bike but glad to have it. The belly pan I got (link in description) comes with all the necessary bolts and fittings instructions. However... wasn’t a 100% perfect fit. It needed warping ever so slightly to get on. It also sits a bit too snug against the radiator pipe on the left of the bike. So had to protect that some what with a simple mod. Having said all this... I’ve had it on for two years with zero problems. I’ve not thought about clear indicators... what are the benefits? Is it an aesthetic choice? (Which I’m cool with) Thanks!

@@FabMotorbikes there’s a few things I’m going to purchase ready for the summer 👍🏼 far too cold to get the bike out atm. Hello, the videos are not bad for you, but you failed in this one, the engine is fantastically elastic precisely because of the torque, so for a reason it is wild only above 8000 rpm, find another engine that goes smoothly on the sixth from 80 to 240 kmh, as far as consumption is concerned mine has never exceeded 6.4lu hard driving otherwise it is normal 5.5 to 6 l.
