Finally got my Genos2 setup. It is my retirement gift to myself. Hmm, I know I will never push it to its limits but every time I watch your video I discover another aspect of this amazing instrument. Thanks Leigh.

Hi, Leigh. I just needed to thank you for your inspiration. I am a complete amateur, I can't read music and most of the time I don't even know which notes I am playing but I have always had an ear for music and messed about with beginner keyboards years ago. After watching your videos I bought a Yamaha PSR SX 900. It is the best purchase I have ever made. I have been having a lot of fun with it. I just need to have a little home studio where I can mix my tracks and record vocals. Thank you so much for your inspiration. I watch your videos everyday and sometimes over and over. You are fantastic to watch and listen to. You were right, anyone can sound good on this keyboard. God bless and keep making those videos. A million thanks Leigh.

Good morning, just an amazing keaboard, i played Ketron for years and to me is like many years away when Roland was the king until Korg came out and was mind blowing! Its actually nothing you can't do with it and very easy, comparing to the Ketron! You explain the use of it in such a relaxing and brilliantly way as well! To me is much cleaner and less complicated than any other keyboard on the market. Good work!👏👏👏

It’s EXCELLENT and you play so nicely. This information is so useful and I am dying to pair up a cappella with the right styles and chord progression. I proudly owned Genos 1 though I’ve now part exchanged it for a stunning PSR-SX 920. Again absolutely fantastic though I wish what Yamaha would now introduce, is the ability to be able to copy and paste measures being recorded on board the 16 track sequencer and it would be so useful, if you could be able to drop in on the audio recorder. Though you can do this on computer packages, it would still be so handy to be able to have this facility on the fly when recording via the actual instruments but yes again, they are absolutely brilliant instruments there are no two ways about it.

I would like to always be with you when you play, watching your hands moving to find every note of the song as soon as each style starts and see your facial expression when you get excited to guess the song corresponding to the style. For me you should put your face in a small corner of the video as well. I think it would be even more engaging. It's wonderful to listen to you. You are an angel. You took me years back when I played all these songs and had fun. Playing with you would be a dream. I always follow you and I have fun hearing your voice every time as you comment as soon as you guess what song comes to mind. You are a genius from the other world! I hope that more and more people come to your channel to enjoy joy to spend some time charging soul of positive energy with gifts from your beautiful heart.

Don't let your skill worry you, Yamaha arrangers make you sound better and that in turn develops your skill. I speak from experience. I won't get chosen for a primary school band, yet I can do some pretty good covers on my Yamaha.

You never cease to amaze us with your creativity and the music that is in your head just "flows" form those fingers. This arranger doesnt have smooth transition of voices. It cuts the sound of the instrument right away.
@LeighWilbraham4 ай бұрын
That's because you don't carry over the same effects from the previous registration - user error. If you use the same effects and don't change from a hall reverb to a plate - which you wouldn't do normally, then there's no issue. It's lack of knowledge that leads to these sort of comments.

That is called a patch remain i think. Some yamaha cant handle it. Pa series can. Some yamaha synth also. Even a medeli can and a cheap casio. They have smooth transitions even a lot of effects as he was saying. Not a user error. Genos just cant handle that. It just cut even without effects. Some guy with more knowledge about genos explained it. Also comparing it to other arrangers.
