These types of videos are so informational and without a doubt will help someone who is needed to replace the axle seal. The amount of money a shop would charge for this type of job would be really steep i imagine just in labor alone. You explain the steps well and get right to the point. Great job.

I've certainly put enough of those Axles seals on my old 660! Nice to see they haven't changed much in the 700's. Nice explination video.

Hey man ! I really like your maintenance videos like this, 1) you have the most amazing shop ever, that's every guys dream ! 2) you have a lift 3) lighting is perfect ! Annnd I could listen to the sound of air tools all day haha I love it. It'ssure nice to watch someone who really knows what he's doing, it's like you did that 1000 times. Did you used to be a mechanic of some kind? Side note: Can we get a video on that beauty old white Chev truck you have there, holy crap I don't see many like that around my neck of the woods.... Canadian Winters are hard on cars..... Salt on the roads, Salt in the air haha

Hey buddy!, Haha Yes I work on cars for a living. I’m a mechanic for Nissan& Infiniti dealership. Not able to retire like Q yet. Anyways yes I love the shop makes it convenient to work on stuff. Oh yeah I imagine the salt you guys use for the roads really takes its toll on vehicles. I bought the truck out of Kentucky over 10 years ago they don’t use Salt, so it has no rust. Glad you’re liking the maintenance videos really appreciate you checking them out!

@@kcatv9556 yes the case I was told cracked and it’s inside the motor housing from what the mechanic told me which is why it is so high in price to repair or replace. I’ve been trying to think of something that I might could use to replace the motor and transmission in it and use something like a Honda motor and transmission from a quad

Hi, sorry for the delayed response. There’s no need to drain the rear differential fluid when pulling the axles out. Fluid will not run out. I drained the fluid on mine because I was pulling the seals out and it was due for a flood change. Hope that helps you out. Thanks for checking out the video.

I love these shop videos you do. Always a good job of explaining "how to" and you get straight to the work without filling our ears with a bunch of preamble that puts us all to sleep - lol So, as usual, I have a question: Was your diff oil milky because you got water in it or because of the type of oil you use? (I was assuming "water", but thought I should ask) Can't wait for the wheel bearing video - YEEEEHAW! - I love this S#!T

Great video! I do have a question. I am about to replace my rear axles on my grizzly 700 and I am wondering about the fluid in the differential. Do you have to drain it prior to doing the axles? I just see people pulling the axles out and replacing and there is no mention of the fluid. You on the other hand mentioned filling it back up. Do you have to do this or just recommended?

Hi Jack, I have no idea what the size of those seals are? If you are needing to replace them, just buy the factory seal and it should be the right size. Hope that helps you out, thanks for checking out the video!
