Any alternatives for removing the ball joint besides using a press? Would a C-clamp work as well?

I have a 03 Yamaha Kodiak 400 cc and I can't seem to press out the upper ball joint on the left side. Is there a work around for this?

Did you have to bleed the air from the brakes after you disconnected the line? Is it necessary to remove the line from the brake? I hope you can answer because I have a project to do Wednesday! LOL

If you disconnect the line, you have to bleed it. You don't have to disconnect the line.

Thanks. I didn't have to because when I pulled the ball joint out I found it was the whole spindle! (My luck!) So I added a few washers to get me across some ice for a fishing derby. I hope you have a video showing the whole spindle swap out, and reconnect! Hardly know what I'd do without your videos to help!?! I have a 2016 Yamaha Grizzly 700se (hint hint!) Thanks again for sharing your knowledge!

@alexis22236 жыл бұрын
It cranks but just wont start
@PartzillaParts6 жыл бұрын
If it has spark, the carb may not be putting in the correct fuel. Check output.
