That was painful to watch.. my 02 Grizzly 660 would crawl right up that with diff lock.. this must be a base model Kodiak with no diff lock..

Indeed it is. You can see he has no digital gauges. So no diff lock.

Kodiak comes with front diff lock, you just have to buy the eps model ......

Not bashing you guys at all but if that’s what 4wd “low range” is like on a Yamaha I might get a Polaris instead, that thing looked like it struggled to turn them tires too much for low range😂

I ride a polaris and made it up without failure... the Kodiak unfortunately is a worksite built ATV and it basically a tuned down grizzly. The 4x4 on these aren't true and you can see that in the video the front diff not locking. After that day he bought a kit to install.a front locker and it really opened the machine up. Kodiak is a great machine but has its limits in off road capability unless it's upgraded

My Kodiak EPS special edition has diff lock , more power than you'll ever need . Stay away from Polaris
