Love our MT-10's and your channel! That said--why do you blip downshifts on the street and not on the track when it matters? That slipper is great but the turn you blew would've never happened with a quick blip methinks. Which external mic do you use--you're really able to capture the sound of the CP4 and that badas SC exhaust!

You got aftermarket/adjustable rearsets? i've still yet to see a track day, but during some "daring maneuvers" recently ( i live in the mountains) i've come to realize the only 2 things i can complain about, are the brakes and the position of the rearsets. They are super comfortable, but wayyyy to low. Touch down way too easy and not even at crazy speeds, just super curvy around here. Also i changed my front pads out for some EBC and it made a huge diff, but not what i wished it would've. How much did that master cyl setup run you?

Hey , yes I have gilles rearsets with high position, the oem ones are low bcs of the little limiter , happens to me to. The pads makes a huge diference i use brembo sc, but the brembo rcs19 makes all the diference in feeling and stoping power, with a brake hoses and a good brake oil.. or if you want to go all-in brake rotors an calipers but the oem calipers are really good.

Is the radial brake pump better than the stock one? Im thinking of gettiing an RCS19 for my MT10. I know the calipers are sub par but will braking improve with just the pump?

Hello , the OEM MC is trash. You can get the r1 MC or the brembo rcs19 , change your pads for brembo sc and you ill have a new brake system. The calipers and brake rotors are also a good improvement but for a common user the MC and pads it's enough.

Reply below is in response Tuono eats MT for breakfast comment. Rock on Miguel...good riding. It should...It's basically a race bike with comfortable bar position. The aerodynamics is even better than the MT10. So it has 100 more cc...15-25 more horsepower depending on who you talk to...weighs much less...has a full blown suspension and electronics package and the list goes on and on. It's still only a few seconds quicker than a well prepped MT10 with it's extra weight etc. The videos below are the same rider...good rider...not a racer, but knows the track fairly well. His FZ/MT10 has stock suspension and he's 3.5 seconds quicker on his FZ10. He did a 2:01:35...pretty good lap at this track. Other guys have done 1:57-58' on FZ/MT10's. I told him he should be at least 3 seconds faster on the Factory Tuono. He said he would go quicker the next trackday. He swore the Tuono is so much faster, but he never went quicker. He was clocked at a 2:05 on the Tuono according to my calculation. I don't think a Tuono would smoke my FZ10...it would be the electronics and power advantage a equal rider rider would have. The MT10 has a good base chassis package...with a few geometry tweaks and some good tuning...it holds it's own. Watch videos of FZ10 & Tuono below. Miguel is a good rider and he wouldn't get smoked by a Tuono either...especially if he put some better suspension on his bike. Thanks mate, the chain is D.i.D and sprockets are vortex at the back and JP front. The tyres are bridgstone rs10

SnapZ 3 weeks ago (edited) Cool video, false title. The MT-10 is by far not the best naked track bike. That award goes to the Tuono, no questions asked. And it's not even close If I put 5500 euros of modifications into a MT10 it would be close to a 19,000.00 euro tuono. I can add OZ Piega R wheels, pipe, ecu flash w/tune, custom velocity stacks, race sprint filter with gutted airbox, rsc19 mc, ss lines, xx vesrah pads, K-Tech suspension, rear sets. With these mods it would close to the same price as a tuono. An MT10 set up right can hold it's own and keep a tuono in it's sight. Now the 1500-2500 euros I save every year on maintenance and insurance will allow me to do the R1 engine swap at some point...now I have similar power...in a few more years of saving money with my MT10 I'll add the swingarm mod to extend the wheelbase, brembo calipers and maybe some rotobox cf wheels...sell the OZ wheels. You can make the MT one bad mofo. Later
